About
Welcome to Judging Truth.
This is a site dedicated to examining the issues that face this nation and getting down to the truth. It is also dedicated to preserving the concepts that made this nation one of the greatest ever to exist among all the social experiments of man kind. The founding fathers of this nation inspired a form of government never before seen on this planet. They laid down a form and structure that guaranteed liberty, freedom and opportunity for millions. Over two hundred years ago, thirteen original colonies laid a framework of government unique among nations and gave birth to the United States of America. The further we move from the founding ideals of these great men and the states they represented, the farther we separate ourselves from the dream that is America and all the freedoms this nation provides her citizens.
This site was originally created to fight the injustices of a local elected judge who thought it her prerogative to ignore the law and impose her will and opinions on those who came before her. Her short term in office shook my small community and deeply affected me personally as she threatened my legal rights to my children, because she happened not to like the fact that my wife and I dared stand up to her. We made it our mission to ensure that this woman would never use the bench as a means of personal vendetta again and help to get here elected out of office.
After accomplishing my primary goal, I realized how much politics can affect my life and the lives of my family. Therefore, I decided to keep the site going and expand the scope to not only local, but to state and federal policy and politics as well. Thus was born Judging Truth.
About the Author:
My name is Dax A. Morgan. Many of you may already know me as Concerned Citizen, a name I took when I started this site in opposition to a corrupt local politician. For those of you who do not know me, allow me to introduce myself.
Politically, I am first and foremost a conservative. Specifically I consider my self a Reagan/Goldwater Conservative. I believe in limited government in scope and size, states rights, peace through strength, personally responsibility, the rule of law, individual rights, separation of powers, capitalism and free markets. Most importantly, I believe in the Constitution of United States of America. Not a a living breathing document to be interpreted as we see fit, but as the fundamental founding law of this nation which has secured the freedoms that we now enjoy. I believe that deviation from this document, other than in the method described therein, is detrimental to the welfare of this nation.
Personally I am a Christian, dedicated husband and proud father of three wonderful children. Most of what I do in my life is based upon those three simple things I just stated. I work as a Director of Information Technology for an environmental laboratory in downtown Fort Worth. I am an avid computer gamer, amateur photographer and soccer coach.
