A Funny Thing About Promises

Posted by Concerned Citizen on 9th January 2010

It is a well know fact that once elected politicians almost immediately forget the very promises that got them elected in the first place.  This administration has been no different.  Of course they have kept some of the promises that they made, but those are only the ones that serve their purposes and drive their agendas.

What promises have they kept?  Well that is easy, we were promised justice for those held in Guantanamo Bay, they have certainly delivered on that.  In fact those who are now held at Gitmo can rest assured that they will have far more legal rights then the very soldiers that captured them on a foreign battlefield.  You see the Obama administration promised them justice and they shall have it in the form of the American civil legal system, something actually denied our brave men and women who serve and die for this nation.  No, military tribunals or courts martial was not good enough for the illegal enemy combatants who fought our soldiers overseas.  They must have far superior legal rights, attorneys paid for by the American tax payer and access to all the case law, precedence and jurisprudence afforded each and every American citizen.  Who cares that our brave servicemen and women do not get this luxury, those terrorist suspects certainly deserve it.  You see when you become a soldier, airman, sailor or marine in service to this nation, you not only pledge your life to the defense of this nation and her Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic, you also waive your right to the very guarantees provided by the document that your are duty bound to protect.  You swear to surrender your rights and be governed by the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).  However, now those who fight against American troops on the field of battle do not have to worry about such details.  Now they can have the same rights as any other American criminal, including the right for some sleaze ball attorney to find a legal loop hole to let them go free, because some bureaucratic bookworm did not fill out some piece of paperwork in triplicate or some soldier was insensitive to the cultural needs of a detainee.  Not to mention the fact that in their utmost lack of wisdom, the Federal government has decided to try some of these terrorist just miles from the scene of the ‘crime’.  I be New Yorkers will welcome any verdict that comes out of these trials that they will be forced to host, even if it is an innocent one, so long as the rights of these terrorist who killed 3,000 innocent New York citizen were not violated in even the slightest way.  Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is one promise that the Obama administration has kept: Far superior legal rights and proceedings for terrorist suspects than is afforded our very own soldiers, all at the expense of the American taxpayer.

You want an American trial for these jihadist?  Well, I agree.  Here is my idea.  Dress them in bright pink jumpsuits, pick a day and time to release them in Hoboken or Queens, broadcast the location and time of release to everyone in the Tri-State area, then let them go.  If they can make it out of the city alive, they are free to go.  It is a hell of a better fate than the three thousand innocent civilians that burned to death or were buried alive in the rubble so many years ago.

What other promises have they kept?  Ah, yes, healthcare.  They told us they would ram a Federally controlled healthcare plan down our throats whether we liked it or not.  Almost a year later they are close to succeeding, but here is where some of the broken promises come in.  Now I am not talking about the one we would have plainly been fools to believe, like that he would not have any activist or lobbyist as his advisors or that he would not sign any bill with a single piece of pork attached to it.  No, I am talking about those that he repeated over and over again that gave all the naive liberal votes hope that we would see the shining light of democracy from the unprecedented transparency promised by the Obama administration.  You see he knew this healthcare thing was poisonous.  He knew that the American people would not willingly sacrifice their choices, their rights and their control over their medical decisions if they really knew what was being planned.  No secrecy would be key to the success of this agenda.  The American people could not really find out what what in this healthcare bill or they would resist, but if he promised us that we would get to see each and every deliberation about this  live on CSPAN it sounded awfully good for the campaign.  Complete transparency, it seems, is just a bit more opaque than we thought.  Where has this CSPAN coverage been?  Why now that people are demanding that he live up to his promises is he hemming and hawing about allowing his bumbling press secretary to blurt out one half-witted excuse after another?  It is funny how those promises that you never meant to keep, come around and bite you in the ass, Mr. President.

On to other promises, how about that unemployment rate?  Hey, I know this one personally.  Both my wife and I had good productive jobs to start off 2009.  Nine months later neither of us did.  So what was this about if we passed the TARP bill, or was it the Omnibus, that we would not go over 8% unemployment?  What about the transparency promised with all of these bailout an stimulus programs?  Oh, sure there was a website created and job loss numbers spewed about, but then we find out that those numbers were complete bullshit.  They included thousands of jobs that had not even started yet and did you know that almost one billion dollars, that is right $920 million of your dollars cannot be adequately accounted for from the funds that were spent in the first six months.  Oh and did you also know that much of this money did not even go to create jobs?  Well that is of the money that has actually been spent of the staggering amounts allocated for these travesties that were voted into law.  That is another thing that apparently was just a flat out lie or just something that this administration does not care much about.  You see, for weeks we were told that we had to act now to avert a crisis.  We had to infuse the economy with these staggering trillions of immediately of face collapse.  Funny, that, because as of today only about 20% of the funds for first $890 billion so called stimulus packages has been spent with another 20% or so in process to be spent within the next six months.  That does not sound like a shot in the arm, but more like a long term prescription plan.  So why the rush if we are going to sit on more than $600 billion dollars until well into 2010?  Why did we have to pass this massive bill in its entirety right then?  Could we not have slowed down and voted to spend the roughly $160 billion dollars that we have so far, then taken our time on the rest?  Hell, now there is even talk of another stimulus package, because the first one was ineffective and the economy has not recovered.  Well no shit, Sherlock.  If $890 billion dollars in funds immediately injected into the American economy was the real answer, then spending $160 billion over six months won’t have the same effect.  That is the difference between a shot and a slow drip IV, not anywhere close to the same thing.

You know there is a question that I always hear thrown around at election time.  Are you better off today than you were four years ago?  It seems that is how we are to judge the effectiveness of our leaders, most pointedly the President.  Well, Mr. President, I am not better off that I was four years ago, nor even two for that matter.  Two years ago, my wife an I both had very profitable jobs in solid industries, hers in the middle of a growing boom.  We were making significant salaries, had good future prospects, good health insurance, large life insurance policies, a healthy stock portfolio and plenty of money in the savings.  Yeah, uhm, we don’t have any of that anymore.  My wife has spent the last nine months unemployed because her industry freaked out about Cap and Trade and I joined her for two months as the economy wore into my job as well.  Hell I even worked for a government contract regulatory lab.  People HAVE to have done what we did, but it still cut into our business enough that I am not even sure my former company will survive after being in business since it was founded in 1976.  No, Mr. President I am far, far worse off now than I was before you were elected and there are many Americans who are right there with me.  You have had a year and all your policies have done is make worse an already bad situation.  You have three years left.  The clock is ticking.

Since I am in an analogy mood, this evening I will give you another one.   Let’s say you take your car into a mechanic and he charges you $890 dollars to fix your engine.  A week later you have to take it back to him for the very same problem.  This is when you discover that he only spend $160 dollars to fix your car the last time, hides the invoice when you try to look at it, can’t explain to you what some of it was spent on and tells you that it should be running better because the flux capacitor is now in synch with the primary phase coil, but he promises that if you will give him another $1,000 he will make sure it runs right.  Now, ask yourself, how likely would you be to let this man work on your car again, provided you do not punch him out straight away and take your money back forcibly.  Now ask yourself how likely would you be to let him recommend a doctor for you and your family, or decide what medical procedure you need or do not need?  Scary thought isn’t it?

Betrayal from the Courts

Posted by Concerned Citizen on 12th June 2008

U.S. Navy SEAL Marcus LuttrellOnce again the Supreme Court of the United States has over stepped its authority and ruled on a matter outside of the jurisdiction of the judicial branch thereby creating law that did not exists and has no Constitutional basis or justification. In a 5 to 4 ruling today the Supreme Court ruled that enemy combatants detained at Guantanamo Bay have rights under the Constitution of the United States.

This ruling is far reaching and extremely damaging to our military and their ability to conduct their missions safely. For starters, the 270 men still detained at Guantanamo are not American citizens. They were not captured on American soil, nor are they being detained within any American civil system. They are unlawful enemy combatants, captured during hostile action against the American military on foreign soil. They have absolutely no rights under American criminal law and have no standing to bring suit in the American criminal or civil systems. They DO NOT even have rights under the Geneva Convention which we have given them anyway and gone out of our way to insure, sometimes far beyond the basic guarantees of the Convention.

This ruling by the errant Justice’s opens up the American legal system to these combatants and gives them the right to challenge their detention under that system. By ruling in such a way, they are then afforded all the rights that are guaranteed to any America citizen accused of a crime. This gives them the right to lawful search and seizure, the right to a speedy and public trial, the right to confront his witnesses, the right to a Grand Jury, the right to public defense and the right to bail. This also affords them the right to the Fifth Amendment and protection of self-incrimination.

Do we really want these rights to be conferred to terrorist engaged in combat with our soldiers on the battlefield?

Do we want to pay for the public defense of those responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Americans or the deaths of our soldiers?

Do we want to allow bail for a know terrorists who’s duty of faith is to kill as many of us as possible?

Do we want to force our soldiers into having to read Miranda rights to any one they capture and detain while in combat with our enemies?

Do we want to allow a terrorist with imminent tactical knowledge of impending terrorist activities to plead the Fifth Amendment and withhold that information thereby endangering the lives of American citizens?

What the hell are these people thinking? Do you realize that American military personnel serving in a war zone have FEWER rights than what the Supreme Court just guaranteed to these terrorists?

This places our soldiers at enormous risk. You should read the story of SEAL Team 10 and hear the emotional words of Marcus Luttrell. This is the story of a SEAL team sent into Afghanistan to eliminate al-Qaeda leadership targets. On one mission, while they waited for an opportunity to engage one such target, they were discovered by two Afghan sheep herders. Forced to make a quick decision whether to kill the two herders or let them go, the SEAL team followed their rules of engagement and let the two civilians go. Moments later they were overrun with al-Qaeda operatives and most of their team wiped out. The SEAL team sent into rescue them was also destroyed. In total, nineteen people lost their lives because a six man team of Unites States Navy SEALs was not allowed to do what they needed to do, no matter how distasteful it was, to protect themselves during battle.

“It was the stupidest, most Southern-fried, lame-brained decision I ever made in my life to vote to let them go … I actually cast a vote that I knew would sign our death warrant.” – Marcus Luttrell

U.S. Navy SEAL Marcus LuttrellThe Supreme Court has just placed further restrictions on our military that endanger them even more than they are now and grants more rights to illegal enemy combatants and terrorist that our own soldiers have. This is borderline treason and in my view should be seen as granting aid and comfort to our enemies in a time of war.

We must find a way to reign in our Judiciary, else it will be the fall of this nation.

Let us not forget who we are dealing with here. These are the same barbaric inhuman filth that sawed the head off of an American civilian while he screamed then hung his body by his feet on display for all to see.

Fine. Don’t capture them. Don’t detain them. Kill them all, every last frakking one.

Death or a Side of Bacon?

Posted by Concerned Citizen on 5th June 2008

Finally, almost seven years after the attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind behind the attacks of September 11th, 2001, will stand trial today before a military tribunal in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. It is about damn time.

For starters, thank God that this pathetic excuse for a human being will not be given the same rights as an American citizen by being allowed to enter the civil justice system in this country. This man will stand before a Marine colonel, Judge Ralph Kohlmann, and answer for the crimes against humanity and this nation in particular that caused the death of thousands of innocent civilians. The only good that has come from this thug is that, due to the fact that we had the balls to water board him, he has provided actionable intelligence that has allowed us to thwart additional threats to this nation. He should be convicted in short order for these crimes… And then what?

My first instinct is to drag him into the streets and allow a wounded soldier one last hunt. If convicted I would suggest that he be shot in public with the footage spinning on every news channel available, but there is one problem with that. It is exactly what he wants.

Mohammed has requested a death sentence so that he may see himself as being martyred for his faith, as if God would grant glory to a coward who strikes innocent civilians while hiding in caves in the hills of Afghanistan. No. Killing him is far to good a fate for this example of walking human excrement.

I know the perfect thing. Convict him and sentence him to life if prison without the possibility of parole. Then tell him that he is to be denied a Qur’an and daily prayer. Also, let him know that he will have plenty of friends in his new prison, but they will be much shorter of stature and possess curly little tails and flat snouts. Not only should he be jailed with swine, but let him know that he will subsist on a diet of bacon, pork chops, sausage and ham. We will allow him certian concessions like all the alcohol he wants and the gay porn channel only on cable TV. We should give him the finest healthcare available to keep him alive as long as possible, but let him know that even in death he will not be alone. We should promise him that when he dies we will bury him with the pigs that have become his companions.

I know this may sound cruel and unusual and some people may even see it as torture, but the pigs can handle it. I am sure they would not mind making this sacrifice for their country.

Selling Disgrace: The United States Senate

Posted by Concerned Citizen on 24th July 2007

Attorney General Alberto GonzalesOnce again today Attorney General Roberto Gonzales came under fire from the Senate Judiciary Committee over his involvement with the firing of nine of the ninety-three U.S. Attorneys. Once again the Senators chose to openly defecate on the constitutional powers granted to the executive branch and inject its nose into places where it does not belong.

The entire issue is about something that was absolutely legal and well within the President’s right to do, if he so chose. The senate assailed Gonzales with claims that the White House had directed termination of those Attorneys due to different political philosophies. The problem with this is that it is absolutely irrelevant what the reasons that the President of the United States had for dismissing the Attorneys. United States Attorneys serve at the privilege of the President and can be dismissed and appointed at any time and for any reason. The contention here is that the Justice Department is claiming job performance issues and the Senate has flat out refused to accept their explanation. Job performance is such a broad category that it could easily include not prosecuting cases in accordance with or not ascribing to a certain political philosophy. It is still irrelevant.

The President of the Unites States has the sole right to appoint U.S. Attorneys and dismiss them. There are no criteria or qualifications for the appointing or dismissal of these positions spelled out anywhere other than the President’s right to do so. There is no crime. There is no scandal. There is nothing but a Senate fishing expedition and an attempt to get an administration official under oath and play gotcha games.

The hypocrisy of this Senate is astounding. No one questioned Clinton when he dismissed and replaces ALL 93 U.S. Attorneys for purely political reasons when he entered office, nor has any other President ever been challenged over the political appointment of political appointees for purely political reasons. That is the entire point of the executive privilege to do so.

Now the Senate is threatening to appoint a Special Prosecutor to once again investigate a crime that did not occur. We all remember what happened last time that happened, an innocent man was convicted, fined and almost went to jail, save the intervention of the President, all over a fictional crime that never took place.

Senator Russ FeingoldTop this off with idiotic calls by Democratic Senator Russ Fiengold for the Congress to censure the President over multiple issues including the Iraq war, executive privilege, NSA surveillance, the Patriot Act and Guantanamo Bay. Only once in the history of this country has a corrupt Congress even attempted a censure of the President of the United States. In 1834 an embattled Andrew Jackson was censured for his citing of executive privilege and refusal to release documentation to the Congress. Jackson shot back whit a letter rejecting the censure and Congress refused to enter the letter into the records of Congress. Three years later in a sharp departure from the Whig party, the country returned to Democrat control and the stain of the censure of a sitting President was expunged from the Congressional record. While a censure has no teeth and no basis in Constitutional law or in the rules of the House or Senate, it is a serious condemnation of actions taken by a public official.

Instead of our elected officials wasting their time and our money on foolish investigations of non-existent crimes and censures of political enemies, would it not serve the American people better if they would do their damn jobs? Secure our fraking borders and deal with the millions of illegal aliens we have in this country. How about that? Do your fraking jobs for a change and let the rest of our government work as it should. Let the President appoint his political appointees. Let the Generals conduct the war. It is simple, do your job as prescribed to you by the Constitution of the United States, let others do theirs.

The Deep End: Where Exactly Is It Now?

Posted by Concerned Citizen on 2nd April 2007

We have all heard the phrase, particularly when referring to Rosie O’Donnell, “She’d gone off the deep end,” but where exactly is the deep end in today’s society? The distinction between fact, fiction and fantasy can easily get blurred when you are talking about theatre, television or video games, but to so easily blur the lines in matters of politics, national security and law is a disturbing concept.

There are many examples, but Rosie herself is a prime one. This woman should be clinically determined to be insane. Her rampant Bush hating has risen to a level of psychosis which allows her to rationalize and justify false claims and wild conspiracy theories as if they were fact. Some of her more famous highlights include accusing the entire United States military and government of widespread sanctioned abuse and torture, claiming that it was physically impossible for the towers to have collapsed without the use of internal explosives, blaming America for the acts of terrorism against it, claiming that fundamental Christianity is as bad or worse that radical Islam in America and most recently siding with terror sponsoring, hostage taking states like Iran. These are only a handful of the examples espoused by her on ABC’s ‘The View’.

I will assume that she does not rationally consider the defense of radical Islamic actions to be an intelligent idea, just one that is diametrically opposed to the Bush administration. I am assuming that she realizes that she is defending the actions of people who would kill her in a heartbeat for multiple reasons. In America, an outspoken, lesbian, anti-religious woman can have a successful career as a talk show host even if she is a blithering idiot who cannot support a single solitary claim that she make and suffers from extreme verbal diarrhea. In an Islamic country, any one of the first three things I listed about her would be enough to see her stoned in the streets. So I guess we can assume that her defense of them is only in her blind hatred for this President.

She serves as a prime example of the deep end blending into the mainstream so that even the insane seem normal. There are multiple issues of insanity that persists today. I have compiled a list of some the more disturbing:

  1. U.S. Federal Judge citing Al Gore’s ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ in a Federal Court ruling.
  2. The EPA allowed to regulate all carbon emissions (breathing included?).
  3. Imam’s suing for being removed from a flight for disruptive behaviors.
  4. Congress demanding to run the war, setting arbitrary deadlines and withholding support for our troops.
  5. Congress demanding to close Guantanamo Bay and integrate terrorist into US Justice system.
  6. Congress demanding to know the reason for the dismissal of Presidential appointees and complaining that it was political.
  7. Global Warming alarmists, especially anyone who says the discussion is over and skepticism has no place. Science itself is skepticism.
  8. World Trade Center conspiracies. Any of them. Period!
  9. Anything uttered by Cindy Sheehan, Rosie O’Donnell, Al Franken, Michael Moore, George Sorros, etc.
  10. Any notion that leads toward American defeat, retreat or capitulation in the face of our enemies, especially any that claim we would just be safer if we quit fighting and talked.

Those are my top ten general points of insanity that exist today, in no particular order. As a matter of fact most of them are equally interchangeable on the disturbing scale when faced with them being used as normal, mainstream or fact. Number 10 should actually probably be at the permanent top if you wanted to rate them by the most worrisome.

If you have more I have missed please, feel free to contribute. I will update the posting and add your suggestions.

The Truth About Guantanamo Bay: Inhumane Treatment

Posted by Concerned Citizen on 1st August 2006

Well today is just full of good news. First, you all need to check out the new Vent by Michelle Malkin and view some of the articles on EU Referendum dealing with the possible staging of the photos coming out of Qana. EUR post a very convincing article detailing the chronology of the photos and the inconsistency of the images. They also point out that the mysterious Green Helmet appears to be posing the bodies in almost every image you see him in, which is practically every one. Watch the video:

Second today is a story that I am sure will not get nearly the media coverage it deserves. This story will not dominate the news channels for weeks. It will not be the only thing you hear from the talking heads. CNN will not run entire blocks of time dedicated to complete coverage of this story and ABC News will not launch an investigative series over this issue. I am sure you will hear about it on Fox News, but even they will simply fire a glancing shot at it and not go into the depth it deserves. This should be covered like Abu Ghraib and any incident accusing our soldiers of murder.

Yesterday the Associated Press released a story detailing major abuses at our Guantanamo Bay facility. These atrocities include assaults with fans, shoes, bodily fluids, human excrement, food, radios, toilets and even a bloody lizard tail. This report also detailed several instances of desecration of the Qu’ran (Koran). This behavior is outrageous and far below the standards of proper humane treatment. These assaults have endangered the safety of and violated the rights of those who have been intentionally and viciously targeted because of their beliefs. This unforgivable and inhumane treatment has to stop and those responsible have to be held accountable and severely punished.

Now for those of you on the left, you probably have already decided that I am referring to US soldiers. Well, I am. They are the victims of these horrible assaults. In a freedom of information suit against the government Mark Levin’s Landmark Legal Foundation forced the Federal Government to release ALL reports of abuse at the Guantanamo Bay facility. There were over 400 reports of abuse, assault and inhumane treatment of American personnel at the facility. These ranged from the stabbing of a guard with a bloody lizard tail, to the throwing of semen and human excrement and finally to almost gouging a guard’s eyes out when a prisoner was being removed form a cell. Here is an article detailing the issues.

What action will be taken to protect the human rights of these soldiers and guards?

What out cry will come from humanitarian organizations around the world?

What condemnation will the United Nations lay on the detainees for such violence and inhumane behavior?

How many lawyers will the ACLU send to assist these victims in suing their attackers?

NONE!

You watch, not a thing will happed. Just as the world expects Israel to sit back and take its soldiers being captured and missiles raining down on its cities, they will expect America to take abuse after abuse and do noting. These people should be rounded up, taken outside and shot as examples to others on what it happens when you attempt to gouge out the eyes of an American soldier. They wish to die for their cause. Grant them that.

Let me quote something from A Few Good Men, that doesn’t seem so crazy in today’s world:

Jessep: You want answers?

Kaffee: I think I’m entitled to them.

Jessep: You want answers?

Kaffee: I want the truth!

Jessep: You can’t handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who’s gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Santiago’s death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives…You don’t want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don’t talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall.

We use words like honor, code, loyalty…we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use ‘em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I’d rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don’t give a damn what you think you’re entitled to!

The Geneva Cofusion

Posted by Concerned Citizen on 11th July 2006

The disgraceful main stream media strikes again. Note the following quotes:

“The Bush administration, in an apparent policy reversal sparked by a recent Supreme Court ruling, said today it will extend the guarantees of humane treatment specified by the Geneva Conventions to detainees in the war-on-terror.” - By Fred Barbash, Washington Post Staff Writer, Tuesday, July 11, 2006; 12:26 PM

“The White House confirmed on Tuesday that the Pentagon had decided, in a major policy shift, that all detainees held in US military custody around the world are entitled to protection under the Geneva Conventions.” - By Demetri Sevastopulo in Washington, Published: July 11 2006 05:39

Ah the familiar slant of headlines. This was NOT a major shift in policy. The U.S. has ALWAYS had rules requiring the humane treatment of all detainees. These people do not abide by the convention rules and thus remove themselves from protection of the convention as shown in the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, Article 5:

“…

Where in occupied territory an individual protected person is detained as a spy or saboteur, or as a person under definite suspicion of activity hostile to the security of the Occupying Power, such person shall, in those cases where absolute military security so requires, be regarded as having forfeited rights of communication under the present Convention.

…”

Furthermore, the application of this convention only applies to those who have a “fixed distinctive sign recognizable at a distance” and conduct “their operations in accordance with the laws and customs of war” under the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War, Article 4, Section 2:

“2. Members of other militias and members of other volunteer corps, including those of organized resistance movements, belonging to a Party to the conflict and operating in or outside their own territory, even if this territory is occupied, provided that such militias or volunteer corps, including such organized resistance movements, fulfill the following conditions:

( a ) That of being commanded by a person responsible for his subordinates;

( b ) That of having a fixed distinctive sign recognizable at a distance;

( c ) That of carrying arms openly;

( d ) That of conducting their operations in accordance with the laws and customs of war. ”

The idea that the Supreme Court so blatantly overstepped its bounds and ruled that we should in fact ignore the stipulations set forth in the Geneva Convention and ignore its rule about whom it applies to is ridiculous.

The Supreme Court, who has no jurisdiction in this matter, has ordered our President and our military to ignore the rules defining combatants as set forth by the Geneva Convention.

Wonder why liberals are hailing this as a victory? Oh, yeah they don’t think they have to follow the rules either. See any headlines about Congressman Jefferson getting told by the courts that the FBI had every right to raid his office and seize his documents? I didn’t think so.

Here is one for you: Judge Rules FBI Raid on Rep. Jefferson’s Office Was Legal. He appealed today, saying that it is not right for the FBI to investigate him because… uhm… well I guess because he is above the law, a liberal and a Democrat. That is about the only thing I could get out of the appeal.

The pendulum swings both ways. Democrats scream, “Culture of Corruption!” when it swings over Republicans. They scream injustice and racism when it swings over their own.
